What happens when the company you want to pursue does not have a relationship with SMG? Welcome to "Beyond MiTRAC."
For the last several years, 50% of all SMG students found and accepted a job that came through MiTRAC and the Feld Career Center. This compares to a national average of 25% - so SMG is ahead of the game!
Although MiTRAC is an excellent resource, it is only one element of your job search process. It is important to explore the myriad of resources that are included in the Virtual Career Center and to review the sections on Networking, Informational Interviewing and the Job Search for further information on the most effective way to secure a job or internship.
To further assist you in developing your target list of companies to pursue during your job search, we have compiled a representative list of employers you may want to reach out to for additional information.
