School of Management students start working on their career searches early by establishing a strong partnership with the Feld Career Center. The Feld Career Center (FCC) is your partner to ensure success in your internship or job search.

The FCC offers many programs and services to help you determine your career path, devise a job search strategy, deliver strong interviews, and negotiate your best offer. The FCC collaborates with student clubs and faculty and requires both MBA and Undergraduate students to take a class to help prepare them for their job search. All first year MBA students will participate in a career management class entitled, Career Toolkit to round out your skills and development. All Undergraduates take a focused and dynamic career course, SM411 Charting Your Career Path, which helps them format resumés and learn invaluable information about the job application process.

Some of The Feld Career Center's varied offerings include, but are not limited to:

access to a team of career counselors dedicated to both the Undergraduate and Graduate students
a full calendar of career-oriented programs and events
access to extensive career, industry and networking resources
on campus interviews with some of the strongest companies nation wide
information sessions led by companies from various industries

Through these resources, The Feld Career Center will help you develop the tools and skills to prepare yourself for success in your career search, whether you are seeking a summer internship or a full time job.

Employers and recruiters seek out SMG undergraduate and graduate students. Year after year, more and more companies come to SMG to recruit for an increasing number of positions. Students report outstanding success in securing jobs before and within a few months of graduation, with starting salaries of SMG graduates above the national average.
