The Feld Career Center offers the following services:

One-on-one counseling: Explore your options. Identify your immediate career objectives and life goals. Get coached on your job search strategy.

Walk-in advising: Drop in without an appointment during the following hours to get quick questions answered:
Tuesday (3:00 - 5:00 p.m.)
Wednesday (3:00 - 5:00 p.m.)

MiTRAC (mitrac.bu.edu): A web-based database, updated daily for students, alumni, and employers. Students use it to submit resumés and cover letters, as well as to sign up for events and interview schedules. Employers post job opportunities and their company profiles. There is also a calendar of career-related events including resumé deadlines, information sessions, Lunch and Learns, and interview schedules. Login Now!

Graduate Help

Career education and coaching: Gain exposure to industry professionals and hone job search skills such as resumé writing, interviewing, networking, and negotiating offers and salaries.

Career Advisory Network: Current student access to career advice from alumni and working professionals. To gain access, click in the "Work" area of the Student Link (www.bu.edu/studentlink). Find and click the link to the Career Advisory Network. To log in, students should enter their BU e-mail address as their login name and Kerberos password.

Resumé critique service: E-mail your resumé or cover letter to smgrez@bu.edu and receive feedback within 5-7 business days.

Mock interviews: Before you meet a recruiter, schedule a mock interview (and even videotape it) with a Career Center counselor.

Reference tools: Search print and online resources on various career topics, industries, career fields, and organizations.

Video conferencing: Use our cutting-edge technology to conduct a live interview in the FCC with a company anywhere in the world.

Internship support: Our staff aggressively develops opportunities with top-tier companies to give you summer internships in your industry of choice. Internships are an excellent way to start building a professional network and to get your foot in the door; a large percentage of our students receive full-time job offers from their place of internship.

CareerEXPOs

Each year, the Feld Career Center sponsors internship and job fairs in the fall and spring. Top companies attend both events to recruit students for internships, summer jobs, and full-time positions.
